This is a Rancio wine made in the solera system coming from the best barrel selection. Rated 94 by Robert Parker, this wine is excellent before or after a meal and, in particular, with a good cigar. Grapes used for this wine are picked at the end of the harvest so there is a higher sugar concentration, creating the sweet character of the wine. The oxidative aging as well as the old age of the wooden bats create an aromatic complexity that keeps evolving over time. This is the result of process that takes lots of dedication and has been given to time. It is advised to enjoy it slightly chilled.
